![]() Her first two graphic novels ( Zombies Calling and The War at Ellsmere) were published by SLG Publishing and soon after she was hired to draw the middle grade horror graphic novel Brain Camp, written by Susan Kim and Laurence Klaven.įrom 2009 to 2020 she produced more than ten graphic novels, including Friends with Boys, Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong (with Prudence Shen), The Last of Us: American Dreams (with Neil Druckmann), The Adventures of Superhero Girl, One Year at Ellsmere, and the fantasy trilogy The Nameless City. She is a graduate of Sheridan College’s classical animation program, and worked for several years in the Canadian animation industry before transitioning to making comics full time. ![]() Her first comic was the webcomic Demonology 101, which she wrote and drew throughout school, and finished in 2004. ![]() Long bio: Faith Erin Hicks has been writing and drawing comics “for fun” since she was a teenager.
